1000m2 of time

DETAILS

The subject matter of the documentary is an archaeological excavation in a mountainous village in the Peloponnese. Focusing on this excavation and the international team of archaeologists, the film addresses issues concerning the ways the past is intertwined with the present of a local community. Placed in the residential area of the village, the excavation reveals a distant ancient past, while at the same time provides an eloquent example of a past being always present in the daily life of Gerakiotes. “1000m2 of time” is a documentary about our relationship with the past.
