NEON invites you to the opening of the exhibition BREAKING NEWS – ATHENS by Michael Landy, on Thursday 30 March, 7pm, at the Diplarios School in Athens.
British artist Michael Landy invites the public to express what Athens means to them by sending their own or found images, drawings and texts. Landy then transforms these images into his own visual lexicon of sign-drawings aiming to capture contemporary Athens, its social and political landscape, portraying the city as seen through the eyes of its inhabitants and visitors.
Everyone who submits an image and is selected by Michael Landy to become a drawing will receive the work at the end of the exhibition.
