Modern social drama based on real events of an alimentary scandal unfolding in the Greek countryside. Under the shade of inexorable banking system for agriculture lending, and in exceptionally competitive and harsh financial conditions for the life of cattle-breeders and milk producers, this is a film about a woman of initially low expectations whom, however, reality forces her to be involved in a exigent fight for survival and vindication. The story focuses on a three-member family of cow breeders who fight to keep their business alive. They desperately need to pay back their loan facing a merciless national and European network of dairy distributors and animal importers, as well as fast changes in food industry, and devaluation in the environment and familial values.
