In a quest for ”Eternal Glory” (Mästarnas mästare” in Sweden) twelve top former sports stars, six men and six women of all ages and disciplines, spend time together in a house on a foreign location. All are champions in their own sport, but what else are they good at? Who has more than one talent? Who is the super sportsman among them? And how will they get along when their winner instincts once again comes alive?

In “Eternal Glory” all compete on even terms. All disciplines mixed together in an unparallelled titanic struggle. Who is most versatile? Unbeatable? Who will reach the top, both as a sportsman and a person? Is it the swimmer, the boxer or the high jumper?

As top athletes they all have a winner´s mentality. We see big emotions, stress release, conflicts, but also plenty of hilarious situations, unforgettable moments and new friendships, as we follow their ups and downs. The participants live together in close quarters with their friends – and rivals – during the filming and every episode also shows a film of everyone´s sports careers, which the participants watch together and discuss.

At the end of every episode, two competitors must face each other in the Night Duell; it´s an intense physical and psychological battle of wills, where the loser must depart in defeat.

Finally only one will have what it takes to be a champion of champions and to achieve true “Eternal Glory”.

Meter Television will start filming the 10^th series of “Mästarnas mästare” in the fall of 2017, in Greece. Previously the show has been shot on location in Portugal, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Malta, Hungary, Cyprus and Italy

The show have been extremely popular in Sweden with an average audience of over 2 million viewers per episode and an average share across of 55%,

“Eternal Glory” is a Belgian format and consists of ten hour-long episodes. Meter Film & Television are producers and it airs on SVT.

Sveriges Television (SVT) is Sweden’s public service television company and offers the widest programming range of all tv channels in the country. SVT are financed by a compulsory licence fee for all tv owners.
