A 54 minutes documentary concerning the relationship of British author John Fowles with Greece and more specifically with the island of Spetses. The film follows the return of the author, after 45 years, in places like Spetses and Monemvasia that inspired him to write his most successful novel entitled “The Magus”. The fact that the novel was heavily autobiographical, offers an excellent opportunity to the author to “return” to himself as a young man. Meanwhile, John Fowles states his deep love for Greece, and presents the cultural and spiritual elements of his respects for this country.
